New Search Engine Optimisation Bead created

As you already know, Web Beads Enterprise Edition is heavily optimised to give your website good performance in Search Engines.  One of the features within Web Beads EE is the ability to manage the URLs or addresses of your pages, so that you can insert key words about the page.

For example, our Mancala.co.uk website has many pages with lots of keywords in the URL.  Take the Search Engine Optimisation page, which has a URL of http://www.mancala.co.uk/search-engine-optimisation-and-web-placement/search-engine-optimisation.mspx

Web Beads EE gives you the ability to modify the page names anytime you like, in order to get more or better keywords into the page URL.

The Problem

If your site has been successfully looked at by Google or another search engine, the pages will be given a rank.  However, if you use Web Beads EE to modify the URL of a page, the page rank will be lost, as the page no longer has the same address.

The Solution

Redirection Management automatically creates a redirect from the old URL of a page to the new one.  So if you change the URL of a page in order to add or modify keywords, the Recirection Manager will ensure that the next time the search engines comes to look at your website, they will be informed that the page has moved, and that the page rank should be transferred to the new page.
